History : This wine was created in 1988 of the selection of the vineyards.
Vineyards : 25 acres
Sol : gravel and clay
Terroir (land): third terrace.
Middle age of the vineyards : 33 and more.
Management of the vineyards : grass, disbudding, thin out the leaves, green harvest (for select green grapes).
Varieties : 85 % Malbec, Merlot, Tannat
Yield : 40 hl / hectare
Wine making : pickup table, modern vinification, cold maceration, according to
vintage, maceration for 3 to 5 weeks.
Oak barrel : 14 months
Concentrated hue with dark purple tints. Very fruity nose (raspberry, blackcurrant) coupled withflowers (violet, peony). Extremely supple palate focussing successfully on fresh aromas. Soft, velvety substance.
A harmonious Cahors that is already very open.
