Histoire : blend from the terroir of « Bagat en Quercy » village.
Vineyards : 48 acres
Sol : gravel and clay
Terroir (land): second and third terrace.
Middle age of the vineyards : 33 years.
Management of the vineyards : grass, disbudding, thin out the leaves
Varieties : 80 % Malbec, 15 % Merlot, 5 % Tannat
Yield : 50 hl / hectare
Wine making : mechanical harvesting, integrated sorting table, vinification in steel tank, punching down, sulphur-free fermentation, natural bacterium, "vegan" gluing, tangential filtration before bottling.
Tasting : Ruby red colour, purple reflections. Beautiful nose of black and red fruits, notes of sweet spices and graphite. Gourmet mouth, round. The tannins are already well blended. A Cahors that will find its full expression in a few years on a game with fur.
Keeps for : 10 years
Best tasting : 1 at 6 years
Drink at : 15 to 17 °C.
With food : An elegant wine which will compliment “grilled” meat , poultry, pasta dishes, pizzas or cheese.
