The seductress of Gaudou.
As its name suggests, it has been charming Château de Gaudou’s customers for more than a hundred years, thanks to its sweet honey flavour, making it something special, refined and … seductive.
Age of vineyards: from 10 to more than 120 years.
Grape varieties: a delicate blend of Sauvignon, Semillon and various other grape types.
Yield: 20 hl per hectare
Crop practices: harvesting by hand, traditional winemaking, leaf removal, grass planted between rows, green harvesting, and noble rot (depending on the year).
Climate: fog in the mornings, on a hillside facing due south.
A gleaming, straw-coloured robe that lights up the glass with its sparkling glints. The complex bouquet opens onto caramel, pineapple and flowery flavours, enveloped with honey.
The attack is a blend of tastes spreading over the palate: pineapple, and peach and apricot syrup.
Delightful finish on a delicious honey note.
